Hey everyone! We're currently looking for people to donate their New York City stories for a photography exhibition in Los Angeles. We're looking for people to write in with their favorite personal short stories of New York City. e.g. When and where you fell in love, a random snowball fight with a stranger, rock climbing in Central Park, a stroll through the East Village, or any other kind of special moment that is your favorite and personal to you. We would love it if you could include some sensory components to go with your story, as well. We'll be choosing the best stories that will later be combined with a photograph that will be taken in honor of your special story. They don't need to be professionally written, just something unique and personal to you... a NYC moment you'll always remember.
Please submit your story to email@example.com with the subject heading: Letters to NY. Don't forget to include your name, whether you'd like to remain anonymous, your age, where you're from and what area of New York City your story takes place. Specific crossstreets are very much appreciated but not necessary. You don't have to be from New York or even have lived there, just make sure your story takes place in the big apple : )
Thanks so much everyone. We are really looking forward to reading your stories!
